Purpose
The Southampton Anglo-German Society exists to provide people in the local area with the opportunity to access events and activities that are of specific relevance to their own interest in Germany.
We can offer a wide variety of opportunities including social, linguistic, cultural and intellectual activities.

"I feel it a great honour and privilege to have been elected as the Chairman of SAGS, a society which does all it can to promote friendship between the German and English peoples. The society consists of truly wonderful members, always ready to assist in any matters concerning the running of the society. I trust that we will in future develop further in this manner, continually organising events to suit everyone's taste, but above all events which will bring us to-gether on common ground with a good programme to enrich us all.
